Pensamiento critico ( critical thinkin and media literacy)
The importance of learning English in the globalized era is a topic that has sparked debate within the educational community. On one hand, some argue that English is a fundamental tool for communication and success in an increasingly globalized world. On the other hand, others claim that teaching English can be an obstacle to the preservation of local languages and cultures.
Crimen y castigo ( crime and punishment)
In 'Crime and Punishment,' Fyodor Dostoevsky explores human nature and morality through the story of Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov. The novel raises fundamental questions about justice, morality, and the human condition. One of the most intriguing issues is Raskolnikov's theory of "extraordinary men" who consider themselves above the law and morality. This theory is based on the idea that some individuals are destined to change the world and that, in order to achieve this, they must be willing to transgress established norms and laws. However, as the novel progresses, it becomes clear that this theory is a justification for violence and crime. Raskolnikov realizes that his theory is flawed and that morality and justice cannot be reduced to simple utilitarian calculations.
